Our Story

We started as a group of friends trying to create a cultivar that could win a cup. The year was 2018, a lot of us were working in the Denver, CO area. We had already rented a room to avoid the high hotel costs in the city. Then we had an idea. Could we find someone who would rent to us, and let us grow?

It took at least one hundred phone calls to find a few people who would consider it. After making a couple visits, we found a place in Cherry Hill. Although the space needed some work, it was a large basement room. It had windows for venting, and the door was able to be secured.

We started with our six-plant limit. It is hard to describe how cool it was to watch those first six plants grow.  During our first run we ironed out our rough patches and got super lucky. It turned out that our landlord at the time was a medical patient.  After getting to know us and liking our first run. She offered to get the plant licenses. At that point, our hobby became serious.

Our head breeder Paul Taulbee is a veteran of the grow game. He was able to pick a lot of great beans from his collection, we ordered specific beans to find our male, and had access to a ton of great cuts in the Denver area. We produced 11 new strains using our spectacular Wild Thailand male. After that run, things opened in Michigan and we moved our operation to Holt, MI.

For the first 9 months in Holt, we used most of the time to test our new beans. We quickly discovered that we have great plants. Taking our favorites of the new group we then created another cross with a gorgeous Maui Wowie male. Since then, we have made several new creations.

From the beginning, it has always been important to us to try and bring something different to the market. When creating regular varieties, we always start with a Male that comes from a land race variety or a male from our regular creations. Then we can sort through and find what we like to bring to you.

We are passionate about the plant, love growing it, and are grateful to be able to be a part of the community.

Current Projects

We have several projects in the works.

Auto Flower Project

Our original Auto Flower is the Eazy Daze Ryder. Which is a cross of Mendo Mass x Afghan Kush which is easy to grow. We took pollen from the Eazy Daze Ryder and pollinated several other popular auto flowers. My favorite out of all of them was the Eazy Daze Ryder to the Dark Purple. We named this cross the Nancy Marie Auto. The Nancy Marie Auto will typically turn purple, and the buds have a candy flavor.

We reversed the Nancy Marie Auto and have pollinated several of our own auto flower creations, as well as some popular varieties available.

Since the Nancy Marie Auto we have created 3 new generations of feminized auto flowers. We are working on updating the site, have been hunting the new ones, and have 2 collaborations we will be announcing soon.

Happy Ending X Upstate Kush Regular Photo Period

Another project from Josh at Mid Michigander Farms. His best cuts crossed to his keeper male of the Happy Ending x Upstate Kush.

Papa Juice Reversal

Check out our blog about the Papa Juice Reversal. Testing has finished and all 3 new feminized strains will be dropping soon.

Purple Caper Reversal

We are lucky to have brought on another fantastic Michigan Breeder. Josh from Mid Michigander Farms has created several new varieties using cuts from our lineup hit with a Purple Caper Reversal. Tester Packs are coming soon!
